We at TicketSales.com are endeavoring to do what we can for our customers during this unprecedented global pandemic. Our team is continuing to review the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, including applicable legal requirements and safety and health guidelines; and we are issuing this notice to address what happens if your event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled due to these novel circumstances. Because this epidemic was and still is unforeseen, and legal orders have made it unlawful in many places to gather in groups or at a large event, it is impossible for the ticketing and event industry to carry out a number of obligations; and we cannot control the timeline of getting events back on track. Nonetheless, we are constantly monitoring the circumstances and reviewing our terms so that we can effectively respond and provide services to our customers.

What happens if an event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled?

If an event was cancelled, our team will fully compensate you. We will be sending emails to our customers with specific compensation information. Because a high number of events have cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it may take time for you to see the compensation information appear in your email inbox.

If an event was postponed or rescheduled for any reason, your tickets will still be good for the postponed or rescheduled date, or you may be able to sell your tickets for the new date. Thus, as our terms provide, you will not receive any refund or credit for postponed or rescheduled events. However, if your event is ultimately cancelled, we will then compensate you for your purchase, and you will receive an email with instructions.

How will I know whether an event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled?

You will receive an email if your event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled. Please note that such decisions may not be under our control as the venue, performer, team, or promoter may make that decision. Each of those third parties may have additional terms and policies.

How can a venue's Coronavirus policies affect my ticket purchase?

Because of public health safeguards required by COVID19, your tickets and admission to events you purchase are subject to venue health and safety policies. As the venue determines necessary, the venue may continually update and develop their policies between the time of your ticket purchase and the date of the event. By using the tickets you purchased you are obliged to comply with these policies, and your ability to attend the purchased event is conditioned on this compliance with policies. If you are denied admission to the event by the venue, or your admission is revoked by the venue, as a result of you willfully refusing or failing to comply with any venue safety and health policies, you will be ineligible for compensation from TicketSales.com.
